Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs recipes trust me when your guests bite into these at the Memorial Day cookout they'll savor meat so tender and juicy that it slides right off the bones and gets you the respect you deserve yes thats it I have found some major restaurants in the chains who make this awesome dish pre-cook their ribs SLOWLY before the quick grilling UFFF!
Ingredients:
- 2 (2 pound) of slabs baby back pork ribs
- coarsely ground black peppers in it
- 1 tablespoon of ground red chile pepper in it
- 2 ¼ tablespoons of vegetable oil in it
- ½ cup of minced onion in it
- 1 ½ cups of water in it
- ½ cup of tomato paste in it
- ½ cup of white vinegar in it
- ½ cup of brown sugar
- 2 ½ tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1 ¼ teaspoons of liquid smoke flavoring
- 2 teaspoons of some whiskey
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon of some paprika
- ½ teaspoon of some onion powder in it
- 1 tablespoon of dark molasses
- ½ tablespoon of ground red chile pepper
Directions:
Step 1:
heat the oven to 300 degree F
Step 2:
Cut the each rack of ribs in half so that you have 4 half racks in it. Sprinkle the salt and pepper add and 1 tablespoon chile pepper over meat and then Wrap each half rack in aluminum foil Bake for three and half hours
Step 3:
Meanwhile heat some oil in a saucepan over normal heat. Cook and stir the onions in oil for 5 minutes until they turn brown Stir in water then add some tomato paste ,vinegar , brown sugar , honey, and Worcestershire sauces. Season with 2 teaspoons of salt 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper some liquid smoke some whiskey some garlic powder some paprika some onion powder some dark molasses some and 1 and half tablespoon of ground chille pepper in it. Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce the heat Simmer for 1 or 2 1/4 hours uncovered or until sauce get thickens. Remove from heat and prepare sauce aside....
Step 4:
heat the grill for high heat.
Step 5:
Remove the ribs from the oven and let stand for 14 minutes. Remove the racks from the foil and place it on the grill. Grill the ribs for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until they change colors Brush some of sauce on the ribs while they're grilling just before you serve them if u add early u might burn it.
