These are so easy, to make.....
Ingredients:
- 2 (16 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 3 green bell pepper, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 3 onion, cut into wedges
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2 egg
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 tablespoon of cumin
- 2 teaspoon of Thai chili sauce or hot sauce
- ½ cup bread crumbs
Directions:
Step 1:
so grilling preheat an outdoor grill on high heat and oil a sheet of aluminum foil. If baking preheat oven to 370 degrees F.
Step 2:
use a medium bowl mash black beans with a fork until it gets thick and pasty.
Step 3:
In a food processor finely chop the bell pepper some onion, and garlic .Then stir it into mashed beans.
Step 4:
use a small bowl stir it together egg, chili powder, cumin, and chili sauces.
Step 5:
Stir the egg mixture into the mashed beans and Mix it in the bread crumbs until the mixture is sticky .Divide the mixture into four patties.
Step 6:
If grilling place patties on foil and grill about 10 minutes on each side. If baking place patties on baking sheet and bake about 12 minutes on each side.
use a small bowl and stir together egg, chili powder, cumin, and chili sauce.
